Ministro Pistarini International Airport, known as Ezeiza Airport (IATA: EZE), serves the area of Buenos Aires, Argentina with international and some domestic flights and is the main international airport in Argentina. It has routes to all of Latin America, North America and Europe, and some to Africa and Oceania. The airport is located about 35 kilometers southwest of the city of Buenos Aires. It has a major impact on the country, not only in terms of the number of passengers it handles, but also in terms of the people it employs on a daily basis. The B concourse of the passenger terminal is being rebuilt.
The airport's new departure terminal, with a total area of 44,276 square meters, is completed. Attached to the terminal is the new multi-storey car park, which is in Stage 2. It has two basements, a ground floor and two raised floors, all of which are used for parking. Terminal A, on the other hand, is undergoing a functional reorganization of the first floor, with the remodeling of the arrivals area, enlarging it and rearranging the space for passengers and their companions. The works will cover a total area of 14,310 square meters.
